Where we shoot
Seven spots worth the walk
A grad session usually covers three or four of these. Which ones depends on what your four years actually looked like.
Century Tree
The one everybody asks for. Dappled light under the canopy, so it wants an overcast sky or the last hour before sunset.
Academic Building
The dome and the front steps. Big, formal, and it reads instantly as A&M in a frame.
Haynes Ring Plaza
Where the Ring lives. Worth a set of close detail frames of the Ring and gown.
Kyle Field
For anyone whose four years were mostly spent here. Exterior works year-round.
Albritton Bell Tower
Open sky and clean lines. Good when you want the gown to carry the frame.
Military Walk
A tree-lined corridor that gives depth and a long lead-in behind the subject.
Bonfire Memorial
Quieter and more reflective than the rest. Handle with care; it is a memorial first.
When to book
Grad season fills first
Ring Day and the weeks either side of commencement are the busiest of the year, and the good light windows are short. Booking a few weeks out gets you a choice of times rather than whatever is left.
Sessions run year-round in both College Station and Dallas–Fort Worth, so a session over a break at home works too.
